The standard full vented quad kite has been the only factory offering for high wind use in the w shaped kite range.

Many folk have found the standard kites easily overpowered in high winds and as a result a multitude of design solutions have been tried in a bid to ease the flying loads whilst attempting to retain the flying characteristics.

A dramatic solution provided by hot cutting a series of large holes in the sail.

This kite has mesh panels fitted together with a series of small holes hot cut through the sail, this results in what is often known as a Teabag.

Another kite using panels of 7mm mesh, fitted to both reduce sail area and retain sail shape, the kite has had several modifications including a small sail area increase at the lower ends of the uprights.

This kite is framed with Skyshark P400 and P300 spars.

This version of a 4 mesh panel kite has a combination of both standard insect mesh and 7mm mesh panels, the design produced a very nice kite to fly in strong turbulent winds.
